Required documents for the permit
Indian tourists — 18 years and above
Carry ONE of these original photo ID documents:
- Voter ID card
- Driving licence
- Passport
- Government service ID card
Aadhaar card and PAN card are not accepted for the permit.
Indian tourists — below 18 years
- Aadhaar card
- If the child has no Aadhaar card, a birth certificate is accepted
- Children above 3 years need a permit
- Children below 3 years do not need a permit or documents
Photos
- One passport-size photo of every person who needs a permit
Foreign nationals
- Valid passport
- Valid visa
- Inner Line Permit, taken from the FRO office or at the Rangpo check post
- "Form C" from the hotel (we will give you this)
- Passport-size photos
